In fact judging from the films on show I would put it at around 1937.
That first picture is never 1914.
The old photo is possibly taken in the 1930's judging by the car
The photo was taken around 1937, as the cinema is advertising the film 'Nothing Sacred' released that year, starring Carole Lombard and Fredric March.
Hi Tim, Going by the by the car design, should the date of Wardour St photo be 1941 and not 1914? best wishes George Skeggs
The top photograph could not be dated as 1914 as there is a 1930s can in the photograph.
